POSITIVO TERGALE NOW IN S.DOMENICO CHURCH  - 2 DECEMBER, 2007

• "Positivo Tergale".  A little part of the Great Organ is finally here. With one-day heacy work, it is assembled inside our rear Church side, to be visited during Church opening time . The material delivery was perfomed in friday and saturday.  A Harpsichord is now in Rieti. It is a ancient replica, with 2-keyboard and 8'+4', 8' 3 register. This beatiful instrument will be used for  Musical Study Center Activities.

• The Exhibition ; in Sunday, Formentelli has perfomed the Positivo assembling. Thanks to some Committee members for help and heavy-duty working day.  The positiv was builded near a working structure, in order to have a better stability.  This allocation is temporary only, waiting for the final Organ arrival in Rieti.

• The WoodWork Art  :  following the Roubo "Maitre' du Menuiser" Traite' Encyclopedique, the work is really a masterpiece. All the wood part are chained with high precision joints. The whole structure is robust and stable without using screws or another modern assembly  methods. The wooden box is refined with festons and roses, following the Dom Bedos original designs.  It seems really a XVIII Century work!

• Positivo Dimensions :  Respect to majority of the Italian ancient Organs, the Positiv is quite as them!  Infact it is baset on 8' Principal and it have 15 own registers, as per the mean Italian XVIII Century Organ dimension in Rieti and its Provence.

• Exhibition:  The positivo can be seen during common Church opening time (Sunday from 11.30 AM to 13.00 AM and from 18.00 PM to 20.00 PM). It cannot be played,now.

• The Harpsichord
  A beatiful (20 years only, it is not a  ancient one) harpsichord is now in San Domenico Church
